The area is characterized by the diversity of plant communities` habitats of relict type, rich and mixed composition and a very complex structure. The diversity of plant communities and habitats in this area is great. The most common and very well-preserved are the communities with Turkish hazel (Corylus colurna L.). There are also many other rare and endemic species, such as the yew (Taxus baccata L.), hackberry (Celtis australis L.), Montpellier maple (Acer monspessulanum L.), Eurasian smoketree (Cotinus coggygria Scop.) and lilac (Syringa vulgaris L.).
